Hello everyone So....I just came back from visiting family and friends in Virginia, and I dont know why, but I was "Men in black" and "Man in uniform" like awestruck. HAHAHA. I was just so not used to all the men in uniform walking around and after watching Phantom of the Opera Wednesday night at the Kennedy Center. We went to a well known French resturant for dessert in Georgetown, and all of a sudden at like midnight these Secret Service guys came in. lol. Two to be exact. hahaha. and one was pretty young and cute. lol. So you would think that the secret service guys would be more like undercover looking, but you can totally tell that someone really important was going to come into the restaurant. So we were trying to wait until the guy/girl came in, but during all this the men had gone to get the car. (which was a huge Ford SUV) So we were hoping the people the Secret Service guys were going to protect would come in before my dad got to the resturant with the car.
hahaha we were secretly hoping it'll be George W. and his wife. But yeah look at the secret service guys so not obvious. lol. with those things hanging out of their ears and there ties and black coats. However, before we could my lil brother came in to tell us to hurry up because my dad can't park. Then as we walked out we saw more secret service agents up and down the street. lol. But no "important" looking SUV or limo in sight. Until my dad drove away and made a U-turn and then we saw a black limo and SUV park in the spot my dad was. So, we joked that the they couldn't park because "a suspicious looking asian man in a big black SUV was parked in their spot" lol.
I found out later that my mom asked the "cute" agent who was coming into the resturant to eat and it was some diplomat from South America. lol. My little sister also noticed that the cute guy had like cut scars on his face. Pretty scary huh? lol. Yeah. that was a pretty fun and eventful night. The Phantom of the Opera's music was breathtaking. lol. well at least I think it was the music haha our seats were pretty high and me being scared of heights felt a little light headed at the beginning before the performance already. hahaha. No jk. the guy who acted as the Phantom, John Cusia had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. He was so talented.
If only Gerard Butler had his singing voice then it would have been perfect for the movie. It was a little too opera-ish for my cousins though. hahaha They were like "I don't understand what they're saying" like the whole time. lol But yeah neways. I'll try to post up some pictures from Virginia later. As always, thanks for reading.
